Kevan Lannister
Kevan Lannister is Tywin Lannister's younger brother. Kevan accompanies Tywin in the battle in the Riverlands. He has a son, Lancel Lannister?who serves as squire to King Robert Baratheon.
Born the second son of Tytos, and with the knowledge he would never rule as lord of Casterly Rock, Kevan dedicated his life to the service of House Lannister. By all accounts a capable and intelligent man, he lacks the raw cunning and brilliance of his older brother. Despite that, he is without question Tywins closest advisor, and the only man intrusted with the Westerlands most important tasks. He has settled himself into Tywin's shadow, to aid the Lannister family to the best of his ability.

Tyrion describes Kevan in the following quote from the books.
"..the gods shaped him to be a follower not a leader, well the gods and my lord father."
In the TV series Kevan is played by Ian Gelder. His first appearence was in Episode 8 of Season 1 where he was part of?Tywin Lannister's?war council.
