ACHIEVEMENTS REBORN!

Achievements in FFXIV:ARR work much like achievements/trophies for other systems. As you unlock, discover, or defeat certain aspects of the game, the player will unlock achievements giving a certain amount of points for that character. Achievements are not spread account wide, so ulocking an achievement for a character will not unlock that same achievement for another character. Some achievements will grant you in-game content as well, whether it be a simple Title the player can attach to his character, or a piece of rare armor only obtained by unlocking the achievement specified for it. A player can keep track of his/her achievements by logging into their profile at the FInal Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, The Lodestone website.
