Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth continues the journey of Cloud Strife and company as they venture out of Midgar in their efforts to save the world. With plenty to see and do both in and out of the main story, items to collect, relationships to build and more, this classic tale has never felt more exciting! Choosing a Difficulty
When beginning your journey into Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, you’ll want to decide which difficulty you are playing on. Keep in mind that the difficulty can be changed at any time via the Settings menu, so don’t panic too much over your initial choice.
All options allow you to manually order party members to use abilities via the Classic battle style, unlike Remake in which it was restricted. The options in Rebirth are as follows:
Easy
A solid pick for players who haven’t played many JRPG’s, or who haven’t become acclimatized with the in-game systems of FF7 Remake. Abilities will charge faster, you’ll be able to Limit Break more often, and enemy attacks will deal reduced damage.
Whether you’re not confident in your abilities just yet or are simply looking for a more laid-back story-first experience, this is the difficulty setting for you.
Normal
A good middle ground, normal provides the more… well “normal” experience, with a good balance of enemy difficulty and overall challenge, with heavier hitting attacks and slower ATB buildup in comparison to Easy.
Dynamic
Arguably the best pick for players who are confident with the gameplay systems within FF7 Remake and Intergrade, the Dynamic difficulty setting scales enemies to your level and your abilities. This means that regardless of how much or how little side content you do as you progress through the game, enemies will always be on par with you.

Chapter 1 - Fall of a Hero
Cloud recounts his fateful trip to Nibelheim 5 years ago; a mission that saw him work alongside Sephiroth before an ominous revelation occurs one fateful night.
Chapter 2 - A New Journey Begins
The party evacuate from Kalm as Shinra forces pursue them, venturing into the Grasslands to pursue the mysterious robed figures they've been seeing.

Exploring the Mythril Mines, the party are split up as they cross paths with the Turks on their own mission, and face unique threats deep underground.

The party arrive at Under Junon and encounter a rambuncious Wutai clan member as Rufus Shinra puts his plan in motion in the city above.

As the party travel to Costa Del Sol on the Shinra-8 cruise ship, strange creatures appear and specifically target those in the robes.

Taking an opportunity to get some R&R, the party enjoy the sun in Costa Del Sol before departing for Mt. Corel.

The party ventures up to Mt. Corel and investigating the nearby reactor, uncovering Barret's haunting past, and pushing onward towards The Gold Saucer.

The party arrive at The Gold Saucer and partake in some light entertainment and get embroidled with shady people that they must appease.

The party arrive at Gongaga Village and explore the nearby reactor for additional information on Sephiroth's plan and what they can do to stop it.

The party arrive at Cosmo Canyon to assist Red XIII in his effort to become a Watcher of the Vale, while encountering a new mysterious figure who is neither friend nor foe.

The party arrive back at Nibelheim and venture into the reactor as Cloud did years prior in order to gain access to Shinra Manor and find the answers they're looking for.
