Runes
Runes?are items Heroes obtain to gain a variety of temporary powerups. Every even minute a rune spawns in a top or bottom location of the river. If a rune is unclaimed on the map by the next even minute a new rune will not spawn. The rune spawn locations are marked in yellow circles on this map.
There are 5 types of runes, each with a distinct appearance and effect. The types of runes are: double damage, haste, illusion, invisibility, and regeneration.
Each of these runes can be stored in a Bottle and manually used by a hero later. The Bottle's charges will refill to full after picking up a rune. After two minutes the rune will automatically activate. The stored runes cannot be passed to another hero.
Rune Tips
Rune control in the mid lane is an important skill. ?With one more rune you can gank heroes unseen and refill your Bottle for Health and mana. ?Ward the rune spots and use your allies to camp the runes.
Click a rune to bottle it and shift-click your destination. This guarantees perfect timing and is safer around the rune danger zone.
