Weapons
Ranging from Power Weapons to Melee Weapons, we have you covered as we list every type of weapon that you can find in Cyberpunk 2077 below. This page has also been updated to reflect the 2.0 update and the Phantom Liberty expansion.
Weapons and Guns
Weapons in Cyberpunk are pretty straightforward. There are a lot of different types, many of which you’d expect like snipers, shotguns assault rifles, and pistols, but where they get really interesting is within their type. The categories each weapon falls into are as follows:
Iconic Weapons
Iconic Weapons are special weapons you'll find in special locations throughout Night City. Some can only be purchased from certain vendors, and some can only be acquired through certain side quests. Some are carried by specific characters, and the only way you'll get their gun is if you, you know, remove them from the equation.

Here, you'll find a variety of different iconic weapons, ranging from katanas to clubs to guns, along with their stats and where to find them. If you're curious to see what weapons are in the Phantom Liberty expansion, visit our page on All Phantom Liberty Iconic Weapons.
Power Weapons
Power Weapons are what you’d expect. Lots of DPS, but the bullets can also ricochet off of surfaces. These weapons will usually have several mod slots to make them more interesting, but also passive bonuses like Thermal damage, or headshot damage multipliers. All weapons have those passive bonuses though, so pay attention to the type first.

Tech Weapons
These are guns that charge up, only to release a more powerful shot. Tech Weapons can also be fired rapidly if you don’t have time to charge on up in the heat of battle. Also, keep an eye on the sub perks in this category, as I’ve found that the tech weapons I’ve discovered have a little extra kick because of these. Maybe I’ve just been lucky though.

Smart Weapons
Finally, the fanciest of the bunch: Smart Weapons. Smart Weapons require a Ripperdock-installed smart link on your hands. These smartlinks will allow your weapon to be transformed into a headshot-finding machine. Just look for the little dot that appears on your opponent and fire away. Even if you’re shooting around a corner, all of your bullets will find their mark.
For a full list of all Smart Weapons available in Night City, head to our Smart Weapons List page. Here, you'll find a variety of interesting guns to choose from, including the Ashura Smart Sniper Rifle and the DB-4 Palica Smart Double-Barrel Shotgun.
Melee Weapons
There are also a ton of Melee Weapons to find in and around Night City. These weapons range from gold-plated baseball bats to hammers to katanas, which you can use to dispatch any crimes in progress. For a full list of all the Melee Weapons in Night City, head to our Melee Weapons List.
The most important thing to know is what to take into a battle. For example, consider mixing and matching a few Tech Weapons with a Power Weapon in an encounter. Thankfully, there's so many different weapons to choose from, so combat will never get boring during your playthrough.
