Gimme Danger Walkthrough
This page is part of IGN's Cyberpunk 2077 Wiki guide and details a complete walkthrough for the Gimme Danger Main Job, along with every major choice and consequence that's available during the mission.
Gimme Danger Walkthrough
Following the events that occurred during the Down on the Street Main Job, Takemura will call V and ask to meet you in the shopping district that can be found in Japantown.
Meet with Takemura and Discuss the Plan
Upon reaching with Takemura, speak with him and ask what you're doing here. Learning that Takemura has acquired some information regarding the parade that will be travelling through the area with Hanako Arasaka.
Having obtained an infected shard from Kabuki, take the shard from Takemura and follow him as he continues to discuss the mission details.
Break Into the Security Room
Explaining that we need access to the city cameras in order to easily spot the snipers that will be watching over the parade, Takemura will ask you to break into the security room and hack the camera system.
Follow the waypoint marker to the nearby door, here you will have the open to force the door open should you have 6 points in the Body attribute.
Alternatively, if you do not have this requirement, look for the nearby dumpster and climb on top of it to reach the roof. From here, open the large hatch on the wall that reads "Exit".
Once inside, make your way down to the ground floor, where you will find the security terminal.
Infect the Security System and Return to Takemura
Following the waypoint, use the security terminal and infect their system. Having successfully infected the cameras, climb the nearby ladder and make your way back to Takemura.
Go Over the Plan with Takemura
With the cameras on your side, follow Takemura to a nearby food vendor. Asking for the best on offer, Takemura will shout V a meal, simply wait for the cook to deliver your Yakitori to continue your conversation.
While waiting, Johnny will appear, stating that Takemura might actually prove useful and that once he has outlived his purpose, we can flatline him. Your response to Johnny's question will have no effect on the story, so proceed how you see fit.
Major Gimmie Danger Decisions and Consequences for Joining Takemura or Letting Him Take Care of It on His Own
Unhappy with the food, Takemura will push the plate away and will explain the completed plan one final time. After offering your thoughts on the plan, Takemura will state that it is time to part and that reconnaissance is required for the plan to be a success.
This will prompt a timed response in which V can choose to offer her assistance or to simply let him handle it on his own. While the choice does not affect the story in any major way, you will miss out on a fun opportunity that will allow you to get to know Takemura better as he opens up about his past and potentially building a friendship with V.

Letting Takemura Do the Reconnaissance Alone
Should you opt to let Takemura do the reconnaissance alone, you will need to wait one day before you hear from him again. Once the wait is up, Takemura will call you and will explain the intel that he has been able to gather. His findings will show two less possible exits and entrances that you would have had if you had of chosen to help him with the recon mission.
Once the call has ended, you will be able to finish the mission as normal.
While this option isn't necessarily bad, we found that the added story in helping Takemura offered the best results.
Offer to help with the reconnaissance
Having offered to help Takemura with the recon mission, your conversation will be interrupted as an important message from Yorinobu will appear on the cook's TV.
What follows is a lengthy conversation in which Takemura begins divulging information about the Arasaka family and how they managed to allow their son so much lenience and freedom in his actions, despite his strict upbringing.
Follow Takemura
After ending your conversation at Japantown, V will arrive at a construction site with Takemura.
As instructed, jump over the nearby fence and follow him until you reach an elevator, where you will need to press the button to reach the top floor.
Continue following Takemura until you reach the vantage point that overlooks the entire Arasaka Industry Park.
Go Over the Plan with Takemura
Once you're ready to continue with the plan, speak to Takemura and agree to start the Reconnaissance.
Overlooking the Industry Park below, use your scanner to gather more information about the four possible entrance tactics, which include:
The Footbridge
- The Footbridge can be found directly beneath the vantage point.
The Far Left Gate
- Found by the far left gate, you'll spot a lone guard manning the gate. This option is perfect for those of who that selected the Corporate Life Path.
The Pile of Crates
- You will find a pile of crates just outside the walls of the Industrial Park - these can be found just right of the Footbridge.
The Arasaka Delivery Vans
- You can find the Arasaka Van by searching the road that leads into the far right exit in the upper right corner of the park.
Once you have scanned all of the potential entrance points, wait and observe the area with Takemura to ensure that you have not overlooked anything.
While observing the area, Takemura will spot a cat - something that Night City residences don't see all too often. During this cutscene, V will have the opportunity to befriend Takemura and learn important details regarding Jackie if you had chosen the option to send his body to Viktor rather than his family at the end of The Heist.
By befriending Takemura, you will unlock additional dialogue exchanges for various future missions - including a unique exchange during the final mission.
After speaking with Takemura, return to the street level and you'll begin the task of infiltrating the Arasaka Industrial Park compound.

How to Enter the Arasaka Industrial Park Via the Arasaka Van
Located along the main road that leads into the side entrance, you will find an Arasaka van.
Approach this vehicle and hijack it in order to drive it into the compound.
Now that the van is inside the compound, turn and drive the van beneath the covered area that can be found not too far on your right after entering the gate.
Parked beneath the covered area, you will be safe to exit the van without being spotted.
How to Infiltrate the Warehouse
Now that you're inside the compound, it's time to infiltrate the warehouse.
To do so, look around for a pile of wooden pallets and jump onto them. From there, jump to the roof of the covered area and then to the ledge that just above the large fuel tank.
Here, you will find yourself not too far from a door that leads straight into the warehouse.
It's important to note that the warehouse is heavily guarded by Arasaka soldiers, drones, and security cameras, so be sure to watch your step.
When entering the door, you will find a soldier patrolling the walkway. In order to take him down quietly, distract him by using the nearby light. Before you rush in to take him down, be sure to disable the security camera above his location.
With the solider out of the way, continue following the path until you reach a ladder. Climbing down to the ground floor, continue following the closest path to the wall as you head towards the waypoint marker.
Once you reach the end of the aisle, head towards the forklift that can be found out in the open. It's important to remain in line with the forklift, otherwise you will be spotted by the solider guarding the float.
Once you're hidden behind the forklift, use it to distract the solider. As the distraction ends and he begins making his way back to his position, quickly - yet quietly- take him down.
Alternatively, if you can sneak past him in time you can opt to sneak through the second floor window of the float. You will find the window along the side of the float that is closest to the wall.
Now that you're inside, make your way to the waypoint and hack into the parade float via the computer that can be found on the ground floor.
Now that the float is hacked, Takemura will provide you with an escape plan. Click here or scroll below to find a complete walkthrough on escaping the warehouse.
How to Enter the Arasaka Industrial Park Via the Lone Guard
Should you have a corporate background, you may opt to select this path into the compound, as selecting the exclusive Corporate only dialogue regarding an unscheduled inspection, you will be able to convince the sole guard to let you inside of the compound.
With no guards or sentries showing interest in you, simply make your way towards the large warehouse and head up the large staircase on your left that leads to a set of double doors. Entering these doors will lead you straight into the warehouse, where enemies will be hostile.
How to Infiltrate the Warehouse
Entering from this area of the warehouse is arguably much more challenging to reach the hacking point in stealth.
In order to be successful, it's recommended to stick close to the wall, distracting any guards that block your path, allowing just enough time for you to slip past without being seen. As you near the hacking point, look for the scaffolding that's set up beside float.
Reach the top of the scaffolding and climb through the open window. This will allow you to reach the bottom floor and access the hacking point without drawing the attention of the solider guarding the nearby entrance.
Escape the Arasaka Industrial Park Warehouse
Now that you have hacked the parade float, it's time to escape the warehouse.
In order to do so, simply follow the waypoint marker to the opposite of the nearby forklift and climb onto the shipping containers until you reach the top.
From here, run and jump across the gap and climb the ladder down to the roof below. Once you're in the clear, Takemura will call and congratulate you on a job well done.
After your conversation with Takemura, the mission will end.
