This is the?walkthrough?of?Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty's?Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos, the twelfth mission in the expansion if you chooseTap to Revealduring Firestarter.

Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos

You'll start this main job immediately after Songbird's capture by MaxTax. You'll need a netrunner to help you breach the NCPD system to determine the convoy's route.

The options to which netrunner you can use for this mission depend entirely on your main and side job progress in the base game. If you started playing Phantom Liberty from the start, you'll be able to choose from these three netrunners:

• Nix from Afterlife
• Nomad Netrunner Carol Emeka
• Wakako's Chang-Hoon Nam
• The other option outside of those people you know is to ring Mr. Hands and enlist his netrunner for 15,000 Eddies.

Regardless of which netrunner you pick, meet them at the designated location, pick up the datashard, then message Reed.

Ambush Site

Meet Reed at the abandoned hotel next to Pacifica's West Wind Apartments. His plan to ambush the convoy carrying Songbird involves the help of the 6th Street Gang. Talk to Reed and wait for the convoy.

• You can also send Mr. Hands the coordinates of the ambush site so he can pass it down to Yoko.
• You can use multiple vantages and waiting points to ambush the convoy, but it's best to stay on high ground, especially if you plan to use a sniper or other range weaponry.

After clearing the initial NCPD convoy officers, open the rear door of the transport truck, and four MaxTax operators will come out.

• Each specializes in different combat abilities, but it's best to deal with Jasper Collins first since his hacks can prove bothersome while dealing with the other ones.
• Dallas Foster is the juggernaut of the group and arguably the strongest. Leave him for a one-on-one fight at the end after getting rid of the other three.

Once you have defeated all four MaxTax operators, check on Reed, then follow the traces left by Songbird. The mission will be complete as soon as you find the hole she made on the side of a building by ramming it with the truck.
