Death Stalks The Colonel
Death Stalks the Colonel is one of the Dreadful Crimes, located in Southwark.
This memory begins with you crossing the police line, and examining the body. As always for these missions, we suggest you have at least level 2 Eagle Vision, if not level 3, as it's a huge asset!
After examining the body, several new objects will light up. First, examine all 7 clues. Once you do, you will know a few things.

- There are two bullet trails, one hitting the clock, the other hitting a bench.
- Both have hexagonal bullet holes in them.
- A stray feather also sits on the fountain.
With this information, talk to the two people. You will find out some kids had a gun across the street, and also that two shots went off at exactly noon. Now lets cross the street.
Once across the street, there will be new things to interact with. With Eagle Vision active, walk around until you have found every clue, then speak with the kid. Also, make sure to hop in the window, and speak with the store owner in there as well.
Finally, under one window you find a spot where something small but heavy impacted the ground. With that info in mind, climb up the wall and enter the third floor window, to unlock the Attic investigation zone. Check out the gun, then head downstairs to speak with the store owner again. Now that this area is clear of clues and witnesses, let's move to the last.
On the road is some spilled beer. Look down the road to see a continuing trail. Follow it a few blocks and you'll end up at the brewery. Check out all the clues here, and speak to the two men.
After considering all the information. You can now make your final choice. The key info is learned here at the brewery.
- It wasn't the children, as their bullet hit the keg of beer.
- It wasn't the shop keeper, as he shot the clock, and the bullet trail was accurate, and not bloody.
- That means a third shot from an unnamed source, using the rifle that was found on the third floor.
With this in mind, accuse Samuel. He is the helper at the brewery. He is the guilty party, and the evidence is in his sickness. It can only be picked up in Africa, and he has a bag that shows he served with the deceased in Africa as well. We also learned earlier that many people resented the deceased due to his failed Africa campaign.
It becomes clear that Samuel held a grudge against his former commander, for getting his friends killed and causing his sickness.
