Among is a puzzle murder mystery game, where a crew of ten players must complete basic tasks around their ship in order to win. However, up to three of those ten players will be ‘Impostors’, there to sabotage, delay, and ultimately kill the crew. Porus is one of three maps in Among Us, but is probably the least popular. That isn’t really because of it’s quality though, but is instead because The Skeld is the default map for online play with strangers, and Mira HQ is the first alternative. Porus is a great variety map when playing with friends, and well worth knowing. It’s by far the most open, and can offer some very interesting games.

Here, we’ll explore every room on the ship, detailing the tasks in each room, methods of sabotage, and any tips each room can offer. We’ll list them alphabetically here, and for tasks which happen in multiple rooms, they’re listed in the room they start in. Once you do one half of a multi room task, you’ll get a yellow arrow on screen leading you to the other one.

Boiler Room

• Replace Water Jug - This task begins at the top of the Boiler Room, where you must click on the water cooler bottles and hold until the water transfers over. You then need to head to the water cooler in the Office and click and hold again until the task is complete.
• Open Water Ways - The first two parts of this task are both in the Boiler Room, and involve the valves at the bottom of the room. Click each in turn, and spin them until the water bar at the side rises. After this, head to the third and final wheel outside Admin.

Communications

• Reboot Wifi - Head to the terminal in Communications. It’s the classic “turn it off and on again” here. Slide the right toggle down, and you’ll be asked to wait 40 seconds for it to reset. During this time, you can head off and do another nearby task if you want, or otherwise keep a lookout for the Imposter. Once time is up, slide the toggle back up to complete the task.

Dropship

• Chart Course - Click the pad to the left of the back door. Drag the ship along the dotted course.
• Insert Key - Click the panel to the right of the back door to bring up the key slots. Select the glowing one, then click again to turn the key.

Electrical

• Upload Data - Click the panel to the right of the back window and select ‘upload’. After this, follow the yellow arrow to Communications to transfer the data.
• Fix Wiring - Click the panel to the left of the back window, then match up the wires using the right colors. After this, you’ll need to head to the back wall as you enter O2 and the toilets in Laboratory to finish the task.

Laboratory

• Record Temperature - The thermostat will be in front of you as you enter. Click it and change the temperature on the left until it matches the one on the right.
• Repair Drill - Select the drill in the outer corner of the Laboratory. You’ll need to keep clicking on the four red corners until they disappear.
• Align Telescope - Click the telescope, then move it around until you find the object highlighted in the bottom corner.

MedBay

For some reason, the MedBay is not named upon entry nor on the map, but it’s to the right of the Laboratory.

• Inspect Sample - Select the sample tray at the back on MedBay, then get ready to wait 60 seconds for it to process. During this time, you should go and do another task. Once time is up, head back and select the odd sample out.
• Submit Scan - Stand on the platform in the MedBay and click for the the scan to begin.

O2

• Empty Garbage - Pull the lever in front of you as you enter O2, and hold it down until the garbage is empty.
• Upload Data - Click the panel behind the tree. Head to Communications afterwards to finish the task.
• Fill Canisters - In the bottom left corner of O2, click the terminal. Click and hold until the canister is full; do this this twice.
• Monitor Tree - Click the computer attached to the tree. Line up the four columns to make sure the slider sits at the top of the colored bars.

Office

• Swipe Card - In the right room of the office, select the left terminal. Pick your card from your wallet and swipe it through.
• Scan Boarding Pass - Choose the middle terminal. Click the yellow arrow to the left to bring up your key card, then click the boarding pass to flip it over. Hold it over the scanner to finish the task.
• Upload Data - To the right of all the terminals, click the panel. Once uploaded, take the data to Communications.

Outside

• Weather Nodes - There are several weather nodes outside, some near the top, some near the bottom, and some more central. Use the map to see where the broken one is, then click it and drag the current through the maze. After this, head to the left side of the Laboratory to complete the calibration.
• Record Temperature - Head down to the bottom right by the pool of lava. Click the panel next to it and change the temperature on the left until it matches the temperature on the right.

Specimen Room

• Start Reactor - This is the bulky terminal on the back wall. Click it then repeat the flashing pattern five times.
• Upload Data - This is on the right hand side as soon as you enter from the Laboratory. Once this part is finished, you need to head to Communications.
• Unlock Manifolds - This is the thin terminal on the back wall. Click it then choose 1-10 in ascending order.
• Sort Artefacts - This is the box on the side wall. Choose it and place the four objects into the correctly shaped holes.

Storage

• Fuel Engines - Grab the gas from storage, and follow the yellow arrow to an engine outside. Click and hold until the engine has been fueled. Go back to storage and repeat this for the second arrow, which leads you to the second engine.

Weapons

• Destroy Asteroids - Select the console on the left of the room, and click to shoot 20 asteroids.
• Upload Data - On the right as soon as you enter. Take the data to Communications to complete the task.

Vents

While still called vents, in Porus its actually holes in the ground, though access remains restricted to Impostors only. There are a few interconnected systems, with their pathways described below.

• Office - Storage - Outside (near Communications)
• O2 - Electrical - Outside (near Electrical)
• Outside (left of Dropship) - Outsider (right of Dropship)
• Laboratory - Outside (near Laboratory) - Admin - Outside (near Admin)

Sabotage

As with every map, the Impostor can have some fun with the sabotage options. Locking doors is especially interesting here, as much of the map is outside and very open. Aside from that, the Impostor can also sabotage Electrical which turns off the lights, sabotage Communications which turns off the Office vitals log, or sabotage the Laboratory by destabilizing it. If that latter issue is not fixed promptly, the Impostor will win.
