How to Find Legendary Parts
To craft Quality 6 tools, weapons, and armor in 7 Days to Die, you must first find Legendary Parts. These resources are rare, but without them, you won't be able to craft anything higher than Quality 5.
Where to Find Legendary Parts
Legendary Parts can be found in common looting locations such as crates and cabinets. Unfortunately, finding them is completely random, and there isn't one particular method you can use to farm Legendary Parts except to loot as many locations as possible. You can discover them as early as Day 9 (and possibly sooner) in your playthrough, but you won't be able to make much use of the parts until you have the Workbench unlocked.
How to Use Legendary Parts
Legendary Parts are combined with other materials at a Workbench to craft Quality 6 gear. To start, unlock the Workbench by getting your Workstations skill to Tier 2. Next, you must unlock Quality 6 for any weapon or tool in the game, or get your Armor skill to Quality 6.
Open the Workbench menu and look for the armor, weapon, or tool you want to craft by selecting the respective icon. Armor, for example, is found in the Clothing tab, which is indicated by a T-shirt icon. With an item selected, press the arrow to the right of the number under the item's picture to increase the Quality to 6.
Once you have gathered all the materials needed, place them in your inventory with the Legendary Parts and select the "Craft" option in the Workbench menu. In moments, you'll have a Quality 6 item – the highest you can create in 7 Days to Die.
