How to Change Version
There are many reasons to change to a different version of 7 Days to Die. If you enjoyed the content of a prior version more, want to keep using incompatible mods, or try the latest experimental build, you can with a few short steps.
How to Change Versions
You can change the PC version of 7 Days to Die if you own it on Steam. To change versions, open your Steam Library and right-click on 7 Days to Die. Next, select the Properties option, which opens up a new window. Navigate to the Betas tab below "Installed Files."
The drop-down button to the right of "Beta Participation" should be set to the default of "None." To change the version of the game, click on the button to reveal the stable versions of the game along with "latest_experimental - Unstable build." The experimental version of the game is its next build, which you can experience before its launch.
Playing on experimental also allows you to send the developer feedback, if you wish.
