How to Find the Dire Wolf

The Dire Wolf in 7 Days to Die is a massive zombie wolf that's just as terrifying as it sounds. Like the original Dire Wolf, the animal randomly spawns in the game world.

The Dire Wolf bears large claws and bone protruding from its flesh. It has dark fur with glowing eyes and is incredibly aggressive. Getting attacked by the Dire Wolf can result in being Infected.

Since the Dire Wolf is a zombie animal, harvesting can give you Rotting Flesh instead of Raw Meat.

Using a harvesting knife, you can gather:

• Rotting Flesh
• Leather
• Bone
• Animal Fat

The Dire Wolf has a massive health pool of around 3,000 hit points. But on death, the beast commonly spawns a "Dropped Loot" bag that can contain ammunition, Perk Books, mods, materials, weapons, tools, medicine, Duke's Casino Tokens, and food.
