What you Might Not Know about the Armillary Tourbillon Snake
The Armillary Tourbillon Snake watch from Vacheron Constantin blends the mechanical and natural, futuristic and retro, featuring a complicated resemblance to the armillary sphere. The unique layout of the timepiece sees shows the tourbillon occupies the entire left side of the dial. The retrograde hours and minute timekeeping are designed in a semi-circle on the right.
The Armillary Tourbillon comes with a 45mm rose-gold case embellished with an engraved snake coiling across the flanks that surround the manual-winding movement Calibre 1990. Vacheron Constantin Sydney derives the watch’s movement from the 57-complication Reference 57260 pocket watch and filed n six patents in relation to this watch.
