Dan Stapleton is IGN's Director of Reviews. He's covered games for more than two decades now, beginning in 2004 at PC Gamer Magazine, then transitioning to Editor in Chief of GameSpy.com in 2011, and was finally folded into IGN in 2013. Since then he's been in charge of game reviews across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, PC, and mobile platforms and now heads up the team that oversees all IGN reviews, including movies and TV.
Outside of work he's a husband and dad to two young kids (and three cats). Expect dad jokes! He enjoys following current events, dabbling with home automation (among other gadgetry), mixing cocktails, and firing up the grill.
