Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn

A good excuse to jump back into Tales of Arise. Combat is fun and switching up which character I was using kept things interesting also. It had been awhile since I played the original game. There were no animated cutscenes in this DLC which was a little disappointing. Also, I was hoping we’d get two more party characters but sadly none. Plot of the DLC was ok, a bit overdramatic but that is the style of the game so I guess it fits. I wouldn’t call this essential DLC but if you enjoyed the base game then it is worth it.

Not sure if it's worth $30 but it is a solid follow up to the original story. Nazamil's storyline is compelling but the pacing seemed oddly slow in parts. The most challenging combat was pretty much limited to the final area.
