Fae Farm

This game is not complete. Many of the promises made were not delivered. I purchased 2 copies in order to play local Co-op with my family. However local Co-op match making just doesn't work on the switch version. I can set the two switches right next to each other and it still does not pick up that one of the games is hosting a world. So we tried online,which was very very frustrating. For starters Pheonix Labs requires you to register an account with them to play online, which is standard, but the game then requires you to look up friends using their Phonix Lab account. When we did this it simply would not find either my account or my spouses. We ended up having to send an invite using the switches invite menu out side of the games menus themselves to finally play together. However it would consistently drop connections and after one of us would be booted out we wouldn't be allowed to play together for over an hour. Even in solo play any positives I can say come with large caveats. For example the game pushes the idea of inclusiveness in its character creation, however if you don't choose the base female body type many of the outfits and hairstyles simply clip through part of your character. There seems to be no attempt to have adjusted the models to accommodate the different body types. For example if you chose either of the male figures the beards will clip through your mouth instead of sitting on the bottom of the character models head. I understand that network connection can be difficult to program. As an indie developer myself I understand how hard it can be for a company to push a game to the finish line, but to charge full price for a game in this state is just pathetic. I cannot stress enough how much I do not recommend this game. If you want a great multi-player indy farming Sim stick with Stardew Valley, it's 1/3 the price and runs so much better.

Had a great time with my wife on this game. My biggest gripe was that it would crash at random times. So we'd have to start the day over. We recently re-visited the game hoping that the problem got fixed... nope!

It’s not a difficult game but is charming. I like the artwork and the story.

Nice game

If you play it on Nintendo Switch, it drains the system battery like crazy. I suggest playing in Docked Mode to prevent this from happening.
