A Hat in Time is an amazing platformer. It mixes some of the best things from 3D platformer classics Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie with its own special formula and it is great. The humor was great, the difficulty felt like a good mix between easy and hard. The best part is probably the Death Wish assignments (part of the Seal the Deal DLC), which feel like a huge challenge for even platformer veterans.

If you wanna play co-op and have a good enough PC, just play it on computer it has better features, like modding, actual splitscreen co-op, online party, and Vanessa’s curse, but if you wanna play on console go for the PS4 or Xbox, if you care about frame rate and loading times. Other than that, really great game!
Fluid platforming, fun mission design and writing and the adorable artstyle make this a joy from beginning to end
