The Crabsuit: A human driven multifunction submersible. One of the many new RDA vehicles that will be seen in the Avatar sequels.

The new vehicle is aptly dubbed the "Crabsuit" as it resembles a large mechanical crab with six robotic legs to presumably stabilise the vessel when it's on dry land. The legs appear to retract into the ship's shell when the vehicle is submerged underwater, with a sizable propeller unit helping it to journey through the depths of Pandora's azure blue seas.Landau previously revealed that quite a lot of time will be spent "on the water, around the water, in the water" in the Avatar sequels, as Jake and Neytiri are going to be forced to leave their home and explore different regions of Pandora. He also shared a photo of two high-tech underwater ships: a high-speed forward-command Matador vessel and a smaller Picador jetboat.
Despite these recent updates, we still have some time to wait until the Avatar sequels make a splash on the big screen. Disney recently announced that the Avatar films had been pushed back a year after rescheduling its film release calendar in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, meaning that Avatar 2 will now be released on December 16, 2022.
Consequently, Avatar 3 will be released on December 20, 2024, Avatar 4 on December 18, 2026, and Avatar 5 on December 22, 2028. Adele Ankers is a Freelance Entertainment Journalist. You can reach her on Twitter.
