Players were also able to access and post footage of the new Dead of the Night zombies mode confirming that actors Kiefer Sutherland and Charles Dance appear in the new mode.Treyarch took notice of the leaks and cautioned players that everything being played and posted is technically part of a pre-release developer build. The developer tweeted that an official trailer would arrive alongside "the real deal" today.
"We’re aware that some gameplay footage featuring pre-release versions of upcoming Black Ops Pass content has released in some regions a little earlier than planned," tweeted Treyarch.
"The real deal arrives tomorrow, along with a new trailer, so stay tuned and stay spoiler-free out there."As Eurogamer points out, Call of Duty DLC packs have traditionally included four new maps alongside a Zombies entry. A total of 12 maps are said to be planned for Black Ops 4, though, so some fans are speculating that Treyarch and publisher Activision Blizzard may be planning to spread them out over six releases of two maps each, instead of the traditional three releases of four maps each.
Yesterday, Treyarch announced that Black Ops 4's Blackout map would also receive seasonal changes today. Following Black Ops 4's successful early sales, Activision Blizzard revealed a multiplayer-only Battle Edition. Nick Santangelo is a freelance writer based in Philadelphia.
