Walkthrough ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Before you start, take the Training Course to learn the basic maneuvers. You will also win some ATV's to use in the races. To write this walkthrough I used one of the four Ravage Talons you can earn from the Training Course. The only part I modified was the Engine. One to two points towards the Top Speed. After winning some of the easy competitions I used my points to purchase the Trinity Racing ATV. I only tune the engine on this one as well, with one or two points towards the Top Speed or one or two points towards Acceleration. Top speed for when the track has nice straight-aways and Acceleration for when there are tons of hills. ============================================================================== AMATEUR NATIONALS ============================================================================== ************************* *2.11 - PROSPECT SPRINGS* ************************* Around the first corner use the straightaway to get ahead or gain some distance on your opponents. If you are close to the edge you will need to turn sharply. After you make it around the second turn you should preload on the first hill and you will hopefully land beyond the second hill. You should be able to do a stunt in the air. Then do another preload on the third hill with a stunt if you wish. You should be able to land past the last hill and just be in time to make the turn. At the picnic area ahead you can attempt to use the dumpster that is shaped like a ramp. If you cut the corner to deep you will be penalized and brought back to where you cut. The last turn will be kind of tight, so stay close to the inside. Line yourself up for the first hill and preload of it along with the third hill. ********************* *2.12 - TIOGA VALLEY* ********************* Right away hold the gas down to gain some distance. At the first turn let off the gas for a very sharp turn to the right. Don't use brake or the opponents will catch you very fast. When you make it around the corner there will be a hill. Preload off of it but don't really think about doing any tricks here. You will then need to make a turn to the left and then prepare to preload on the hill. After you land you will need to take another sharp right turn. With the hills coming up it isn't necessary to preload but it wouldn't hurt. It may even help you get a little more seconds ahead of your opponents. After you make the next right turn you will come to some bigger hills. You can preload off of them and do some good tricks, landing just in time to do it again on the third hill and perform a trick. When going up the last huge hill before the finish line, preload and launch off at the middle of the hill. You should be catching a lot of air and be able to perform a huge trick. Remember to get ready to turn to the right when you land. ************************* *2.13 - ARLINGTON STREAM* ************************* The track will start to narrow as you make your way to the train tracks, you will most likely be up and close with the competition. It would be easier to stay back a little at the beginning so you don't wipe out, but it is still possible to just gun it ahead and fight the crowd. Just after the train bridge, you will have to make a really sharp left turn towards the nice long set of hills. If you don't think you can preload fast enough on the first hill don't worry about it, use the second hill and preload off of it for some air. You should be able to pull a few tricks here. You should be able to make it down to the end in about six jumps. At the end you will need to turn very sharply to the left to get under the next train bridge. After you pass the train bridge you will come up on another hill, this one is good enough to do a trick off of, but nothing to huge. You will then pass over rest of the hills and land in the water, making it across quickly. After you come out of the river there is a hill that comes up pretty fast. After you launch over you will need to turn left to see the next set of hills. Preload to hop over the hills quickly. At the end of the first set of hills, let off the gas and turn sharply to the left. The remaining hills need a nice rhythm. At the water go full speed into it so you don't slow down when going through it. At the end cut the inside left corner to get to the finish line. ************************ *2.14 - ROCKBRIDGE PARK* ************************ As in the name of the race, you will be crossing rock way bridges without railings. Preload the first and third hills, landing just at the corner of the track, having you turn sharply to the left. After you take the next two turns stay to the right side of these hills. To keep out of the mud use a lot of preloading. When you start coming up the hill step on the gas to try to gain some distance on the opponents. When going across the bridge it would be a nice time to throw the competition off the bridge. As you take the sharp right turn, get ready to preload up and over the series of hills. While going up the hills it is safe to perform a trick. Soon you will have to take a sharp left turn. Don't preload at the last hill or you may hop over the fence. You will then take the turn and start uphill, preload on the last hill to make it to the top faster. On the last leg towards the finish line and on the finish line itself you can preload to cut off a few seconds. ************************ *2.15 - FREEPORT HARBOR* ************************ Right when you start out you will cross a bridge and take a sharp left turn. If you can preload on the first hill you will make it to the covered bridge very quickly. After you make it through the covered bridge you will come up on some hills, it isn't necessary but you can preload on these. Taking them normally would be a little better though, which will let you turn sharply to the left under the fishing net instead of launching over the corner. When going over the hills by the lighthouse it is probably best to just keep low to the ground to make another sharp left turn towards the bridge. Right after crossing the bridge you will come to a great hill to preload off of and do a really nice trick. Just remember that when you land it will most likely be uneven. When you reach the statue take the very sharp turn and watch out for your opponents, which may cause you to crash if they get to close. Right after you get finished with this you will need to preload off of multiple hills, just make sure to go up one hill and land on the opposite side of another. The last bridge before the finish line is very narrow, and needs to be taken with a little caution. You will then take a right turn right to the finish line. ********************* *2.16 - CARIBOU PEAK* ********************* Right when you begin the race get ready to preload off of the first hill. Make sure you angle yourself a little to the left, or you will be headed out of bounds. While in the air you can perform a stunt. As you make it to the left turn preload on the hills. When you make it to the left turn you will come to an ice patch, this will make your ATV turn a little crappy. When you make it under the bridge the track will take a sharp turn to the right and then a quick turn to the left. You can use the snow bank on the right side of the track to keep holding the gas to gain distance on the opponents. After you turn to the left one more time, you will come to a series of hills to climb. Try to get a good rhythm so you can climb it quickly. After you turn left you will reach another series of hills, you can preload on these and do a few tricks. As you drive through the overpass you will see broken orange netting. Don't continue straight, you have to take a sharp left so you don't drive off a cliff. Use the snow banks on the sides in the next area to keep going. At the end of this area you will come to a large hill to preload off of. Along the way, watch out for the two areas of ice patches. The bumps in the next area shouldn't cause you any trouble, just keep in the center of the track and get ready to turn right. As you make it around the last big turn you will meet up with more hills to preload off of. As you approach the finish line the track will narrow, stay away from the edges. ********************* *2.17 - SONORA DUNES* ********************* Right when you start the race, you will need to take a left turn. After you take the next turn to the right you will come up to a nice hill that you can preload off of and do a trick. After you round the circular turn to the left the track will split into two lanes. The better hill will be on the right lane. Preload and launch off, kind of angling your ATV to the left side. If you take the other lane there is a smaller hill that you can do a little trick. The lane will then remerge into a single lane and then a right turn will come up. You can maintain your speed by preloading over the hills towards the left turn. After you make it to the straightaway there are a bunch of hills that you can preload and do some stunts. Just keep away from the edge so you won't get out into the desert. You will then have to take a tight turn to the left, if you want to preload off the hill that is on the turn just keep to the left. When you reach the next turn the track will split again, you will drive over some moguls. It doesn't matter which side you choose. Just remember to stay out of the center of the two paths or you will lose speed. ************************** *2.18 - SAN JACINTO ISLES* ************************** Right when you start do a u-turn to the left, preloading up the hill. Turn right and go under the broken stone bridge, and drive over the undulations. Turn right again to preload up the hill and preload up the next. Take the trail down and to the right, then to the left. Preload off the hill and onto the top of the broken stone bridge. Stay on the right path and jump the upcoming hill. Turn right, don't preload the hill or you will go to the other side of the track. Turn right again and preload over the two lanes onto the opposite side. Preload the hill and turn to the left. Preload back over the two lanes and land into a large single lane again. Weave through a narrow part of the track now going left, right, left, right, and left. Preload up two hills and stick to the inner left side. Turn to the left and preload up the hill. Take the turn to the right and start timing your preloads across the hills. Cross the finish line. ============================================================================== PRO NATIONALS ============================================================================== **************************** *2.21 - WHITE SANDS RACEWAY* **************************** Right after the first turn you will get a set of moguls. Preload the first one and start to make the right turn when you land. As you make it around the corner you will come up to another set of moguls. Remember to preload on them to get past them quickly. When you make it to the second walkway, you will be on the biggest hill on the track. You can do a little trick but land it quickly. After you round the corner prepare for some more moguls. Don't fully preload on these, just try to stay low but preload enough to launch over the hills to get them done with. Then take a good turn to the left. Prepare to cut the corner to this right turn and then the corner to the immediate left turn. Right away on this upper portion you will come to some more moguls, preload the first hill and you should make it over them all. Now take the turn to the left and get in the center, preload on the hill just before the finish line. ********************* *2.22 - SAGUARO WASH* ********************* Right when you start you will see a set of moguls. Time your preloading and you should be down with the set in three jumps. Go around the turn and preload off the first hill so you can skip the rest of them. Floor it around the next three corners and you will see a hill that may deceive you to be a small hill, but it is actually a very nice one. You should be able to get a combo of at least two stunts in there. When you land you will come to some more hills, take these normally without preloading much at all. As you land start turning to the right and take the corner. When you take the left turn after this you will come up to the next hill. Try to take more of the left side so you even out from the turn. You should be able to perform a good stunt. Take the next few turns in this area without preloading. If you are getting a little close on the edges just let off the gas without braking. When you reach the incline preload up it to make it through quicker. Around the next corner is a set of undulations and then some moguls that you can preload off of. Just be ready to take the sharp turn ahead. At the next turn preload up the hill and take the sharp left turn. With the next hill it isn't necessary to preload but possible. Just aim a little to the left. Then cross the finish line. ********************* *2.23 - ANACONDA RUN* ********************* Right away you will be taking a left turn and then go into a right turn. Take the hill and preload off of it and you should be able to make it completely over the other side. When going around the next turn, use the banked wall if it is necessary. After the tight turn you will take a right turn with an incline. You should preload off of it to allowing you to make it all the way up to the corner. Then straight ahead is kind of a half and half-track with different elevations on each side. The left side is elevated higher than the right. A nicely performed preload will launch you into the turn up ahead. Don't bother slowing down on the turn; just use the edge of the track. You must maintain your speed for a hill at the bottom of the hill here. After you come wrapping back around, you will start to head up the hill. There is a hill that you can catch into to launch up faster and perform a stunt, then when you land take the right turn. After you pass the undulations you will come to a steep drop. Just hold onto the gas and launch off preloading will get you some good distance to perform a little better trick, but it isn't necessary. Take the left turn and then go towards the bridge. Underneath it is a hill you can preload off of it to catch some air to be able to do a combo trick if you wish. At this turn let off the gas so you can take the sharp left turn, followed by a sharp right turn. Preload off the moguls to reach the top fast. Take the turn to the left letting off the gas a little. Then take the right turn and shoot straight ahead letting off the gas for the left turn. When you get around the turn you will be in front of a steep hill you must preload to get up the hill or you will lose a lot of speed. Turn to the right and go under the bridge. There are moguls here that you can preload on, but remember there is a sharp right turn. Then go around the left turn letting off the gas if necessary. On the final hill preload and land through the finishing line. ************************ *2.24 - PALISADES BASIN* ************************ Right at the starting line it is a tight squeeze into the left turn. Just gun it right away to try to break from the pack. The small bumps on this top road will most likely throw you off your rhythm a little, just preload to make it to the corner. You can either take the next couple of straight-aways with preloading or just normal hill hopping. When you reach the turns use the embankments to your advantage. After you have taken the inside right turn you will come to a good hill to preload off of to launch you and perform a stunt. Take the left turn then drive down the track towards the next hill and preload into the turn. Make sure to turn your ATV to the right so you are ready for the right turn. On the next stretch preload up the hill to the next corner, letting off the gas to make the turn. Then take the left turn using the lip in the middle to stay on the inside of the turn. Preload up the hill and take an immediate turn to the left. You should take the first hill normally and preload off the next to skip the rest of them. Take the left turn and ride under the bridge and preload up the next steep hills. Take the right turn and prepare for two quick preloads and a good trick. Do one of the preloads on the inclining track and then the next preload on the hill right in front of you. You should then be airborne enough to do a really nice trick. After going under the bridge use the hill to preload up to the top of the hill and take the left turn. Preload on the next hill and take another left turn. As you head down the track you will get the opportunity to preload forward and then almost immediately preload up the next steep hill. Continue straight and preload off the other side down into a turn. Let off the gas a little if you have to and use the middle lip like last time to stay on the inside of the track. Go up the next side and preload off the hill you should be able to do a small trick here as you are coming down for a landing. Go up the next side and do a full preload up to the last hill, then do a little preload or a hop so you don't overshoot the turn. Then take the right turn to head under the bridge again. Get on the left side so you catch the higher peak to the hill coming up. Preload off it to get to the top fast then drive down the other side and use the lip in the middle of the turn to keep on the inside. You will then come to a series of moguls, just preload the first and third doing a trick in-between as you cross the finish line. ************************** *2.25 - NEWCASTLE LANDING* ************************** At the very start of the race, step on the gas and try to outrun the opponents to the somewhat skinny turn. Get ready to preload off the hill up here. After you land from the first preload, don't preload on the next one. You will have enough speed to launch over to the next hill. Take the left turn and then the right turn, drive up and down the hill and turn right. Preload the next two hills to get up and over the large hill. As you come down the opposite side prepare for a sharp left turn. Preload off the steep path and do a simple trick, landing and turning to the right past the windmill. Preload the next hill to make it across fast. Take the left turn and drop off the steep path without preloading. Take the sharp left turn when you land and continue forward and to the right and then left, taking it easy on the turns. Try to get on the left side of the track to use a little hill to preload off of and get over the first hill. Then preload the second hill to make it over the third. Take the right turn and preload over the hills, be careful with the upcoming sharp left turn. Go up the hill and take the hill normally with a turn to the right. Drive over the first hill and preload the next to make it to the top here and turn left and then right. Preload the rest of the hills and you will make it right to the finish line. ************************ *2.26 - HAWTHORNE MILLS* ************************ At the very start is a straight stretch into a right turn, following the road right and then left with a big hill to preload on. Then go over the next hill and turn to the right. After the next right turn there is a series of hills to preload off of and then take another right turn to a steep hill. Preload at the top of the incline to make it to the top fast. Take your hand off the gas and take the right turn, jumpin the bumps, then turn left. Preload on these undulations once so you don't crash into the sign, then turn left and Preload again. Go straight and take the sharp turn to the left. Continue along and preload on the steep drop off and perform a simple trick. Right when you land turn left and head back up the steep hill, preloading on the hills to get up faster. Ride the next hill down and take the sharp left turn and head uphill again. Preload on the hill to make it up next to the building, on the downhill side preload off and take the right turn. Keep to the inside using the lip in the middle of the turn to preload up the hill smoothly. At the bottom and around the corner of the final hill is a set of moguls leading towards the finish line. Preload over them to quickly make it to the finish line. ********************** *2.27 - ALPINE SKYWAY* ********************** When starting this race out it is a little tricky, take a sharp left right away to get started. You will immediatly come to a hill that you will want to preload over. Take the turn to the left and then weave to the right. Preload the hill and be ready to take a sharp right turn. Preload up two hills and take the turn to the left going downhill and cautiously turn to the right. Get on the left side and use the small hill to preload to the top of the steep hill. Take the turn to the left. Ride down the hill; turn right, and preload up and over the next hill doing a simple trick if you want to. Take the turns right and left, stay to the right side. Use the steep hill to launch up and to the top of the next hill. Turn to the right and take preload two more hills to make it to the top of another hill, start to turn left. Preload the next hill and aim a little to the left so you don't go out of bounds. Turn to the right and make sure you are flooring it, preload off this hill across a huge chasm-like drop off of the track and land on the opposite side. After the next three turns you will come to another hill you need to preload over or fall into a steep pit like before. Take a few more turns to make it to a drop down and then an incline with a hill. Preload up the hill to make it to the top and hang left here. When you wrap around you will come up on another hill to launch up from, take it and turn right. When you start to go back uphill don't preload or you will go out of bounds. Turn left and preload the next hill to get on top fast. Now take the right turn and it will bend to the right. Preload off the top of the hill and you should pass the next two hills. Preload up the next hill and angle to the left so you are ready for the turn. Follow it downhill and to another hill to preload off of. You must angle the ATV s you are ready to drive to the right, then drive through the finish line and turn right to continue. *********************** *2.28 - MONTEREY TRAIL* *********************** Around the first corner, you will meet up with a nice size hill to catch some good air on to bust a nice stunt. Continue to preload the bumps as you make it to the corner. Continue straight down the road and turn right, then use the banked curves to turn these next corners at full speed. Preload off the hill to the path below, turn left and then to the right. Preload the hill and take a left turn to a large hill to preload off of and do nice trick on. Turn right and preload again then make another right. Right after going under the bridge you will turn left and go up an incline. Preload here to make it to the top. Take the turn to the right and preload off this hill to get on the top again. Take a few left turns then you will come to another hill, preload it to make it over the hill ahead of it. Turn right and preload off the hills as you come to them. When you come to the turn that goes to the right, get on the left side of the track. Preload off to make it over some hills, then just preload the ones that you've missed. Take the sharp left turn and preload the series of hills towards the finish line. ============================================================================== AMATEUR SUPERCROSS ============================================================================== ******************* *2.31 - GREENFIELD* ******************* Most supercross courses will start with a straightaway just like this one. You should take the beginning part and just step on the gas to try to get as far ahead from the opponents as possible, before the first turn. Take the right turn and do some quick timed preloads to get passed the moguls as fast as you can. Turn to the left and repeat across the next set of moguls, get ready for another left turn. When you are still in the air you can turn in mid-air and cut the corner to get around quickly. Continue down the bottom of the course and turn left. Preload on the moguls and do a trick on the last jump. Turn the left corner and perform another trick on the first hill. Preload the next hill and turn to the right. Gun it down the track and preload at the finish line, turning left to continue the race. **************** *2.32 - AMHERST* **************** At the start gun it to try to get ahead of the group, turning right and start to preload over the hills. Preload especially on the second to last hill and you can perform a simple trick. Turn right and preload over the hills to quickly get past them and turn to the right. Get to the far end and turn left, preloading while cutting the corner slightly. Get to the end and turn right, preloading on the hill and cutting off the corner slightly. Then Race to the other end and turn left, using the hill to cut that corner off as well. Get on the left side of the track and preload the hill at the end but angle you ATV so you are ready to take the right turn. Then turn to the right and preload the next hill right at the finishing line. ****************** *2.33 - SAUSALITO* ****************** When you start this race stay on the right side till you turn to the left and pass the little hill. Preload on the larger one then turn to the right. Preload the hill midway down the track and stay on the right side while you turn to keep on the inside of the track. Time your preloads and perform tricks on the hills with the lights on them. If the light turns red that means that someone has crashed up ahead. Take the sharp right turn to get to some more hills. If you can time your preloading right you should be able to make it in two to three jumps. Turn to the right. At the end of this leg is a nice hill that you may feel like preloading, but don't, instead go over it normally and take the right turn. Preload off the next hill and turn to the left. Preload the next set of hills and take the left turn, preload across these as well and turn right. Use this hill right before the finish line to preload and perform a stunt as you come down. **************** *2.34 - CONCORD* **************** When you get around the left turn preload the small hill so that you make it right over the next small hill and can fully preload on the hill with the green light. This will allow you to perform a nice stunt. Take the left turn and preload the next upcoming hills and then take the right turn. Preload over the large hill turn left under the starting line. Then turn to the left and preload the next hill and when you land preload again, then turn right. Time your preloads here and preload off the hill with the lights on it. You can perform a trick here and then turn right and cross the finish line. ****************** *2.35 - LAFAYETTE* ****************** When you start out here get to the outside and take the left half of the track when it is divided. This will let you skip the extra small hill and get to the turn much faster. You will then have to preload over moguls, turn left and preload over some more moguls. When turning to the right stay on the left side to avoid the extra hill here. Preload over the moguls, and then preload on the hill with the lights and perform a trick. Turn to the right and quickly preload the small hill so you can use the hill with lights on it to perform a trick. Turn to the right and preload on the hills here as well, then turn right again. Cross this leg of the track then turn again and preload off the hill with the finish line on it performing a quick trick. ******************* *2.36 - PROVIDENCE* ******************* At the very beginning shoot forward and jump the small hill to gain the lead the race. Turn left and preload off the hill with the lights on it. You can perform a simple trick here and then preload off the rest of the hills, turning left. Preload up and through the finish line and turn to the right. Preload up the hill and turn into the left side to start timing some preloads. Turn right at the end. It won't matter which side of the dual lane track you take, then turn left and don't preload off the hill with the lights on it. You can perform a trick without it. Then you should be able to preload off the third hill to perform another trick. Go across the undulations and turn left. Preload the hills and turn left at the end. Preload the hill with the green lights on it again and perform a trick. Then preload until you make it to the corner and turn left. Preload the next set of hills and cross the finish line for a full lap. ******************* *2.37 - WASHINGTON* ******************* At the very start, step on the gas and get past the opponents. Stay on the right side as you turn to the left to avoid the extra small hill. Preload Down the track and use the last hill to perform a stunt, and then quickly turn to the right. Preload the next set of hills and on the next right turn stay to the right side, so you don't go on the small hill. Preload down the bottom stretch and turn right. When you make it to the hill with the green light, perform a nice trick here, then turn to the right. Stay to the right side again to avoid the small hill. You should be able to make it to the next turn in two preloads. Turn to the left, shoot straight across, and don't bother preloading on these small hills next to the right turn. Use the hill with the green light on it to perform a stunt, then preload off the finish line and perform another stunt. ****************** *2.38 - FAIRBANKS* ****************** Shoot forward at the very beginning and turn to the right. Preload the moguls if your lucky you can catch a good preload and do a trick in here. Turn to the left and preload over the hill. When you make it to the hill with the green light on it, use it to preload off of, and perform a stunt. Take the last hill normally into the left turn. Preload the next set of hills while staying on the left side to avoid a few unnecessary hills. Take the turn staying on the left side and preload off the green light hill. You can perform another nice trick on here, then preload to the next left turn. Take this hill normally; you should have enough speed to just make it right over the other side. Turn left and preload up the ramp through the finish line to complete your lap. Go over the undulations and turn to the left, preload over the hill to land on some more undulations. Take the left turn to go through the track tunnel and turn left again to make it back at the starting point. Now repeat the race just as you started out. ============================================================================== PRO SUPERCROSS ============================================================================== ********************* *2.41 - BATTLE CREEK* ********************* Try to shoot ahead of the competition and turn left onto the track. Preload up the hill and turn left, preloading the next set of hills. Turn left again and preload up the pyramid like hill. Try to cut the corners whenever possible to help bring down the time. Turn left and preload over the hill, you should skip the moguls and be able to preload the next hill and fly over the one after that, to take the right turn. Preload up onto the big hill and drive off the other side normally. Preload off the hill with the green lights on it and perform a trick. Try to land on the right side of the track to avoid some hills soon around the corner. Preload off the next hill with green lights on it and perform a trick, then don't preload off the jumps at the end of this stretch or you'll go further than you are wanting. Turn to the right and preload the hills, turning right again. Take the hill at the end here without preloading and turn sharp right and preload through the finish line. **************** *2.42 - TRENTON* **************** Right away go as fast as you can to get ahead and turn right. Don't preload on the hill because it's to close to the edge. Take the sharp right and don't preload here either, preload on the hill with the green lights and perform a trick. Turn right at the turn and drive over the undulations and take the hill without preloading. Then turn to the left sharply and preload over the hill. Ride the undulations and turn left taking the small hill normally. Get on the right side immediately to avoid the first mogul. Then start to time your preloads through the tunnel to maintain your speed. When you come out of the tunnel preload the ramp with the green light just enough to clear the hill right after it, then next set and turn left. Preload the hills and get to the other side to turn left again, preload the hill and go through the finish line. Then immediately preload the next hill and take the left turn. Go across the undulations and turn left under the passageway and left again to make it to the beginning. **************** *2.43 - ROANOKE* **************** Shoot forward ahead of the opponents and hop down the two hills ahead. Turn left and barely preload the hill and take the left turn. Depending on your speed you may have to lightly preload this hill and then immediately fully preload the hill with the green light on it. Don't forget to perform a trick off of it. Preload the last hill and turn sharply to the left. Preload the hill up onto the longer hill and then ride it down over the next hill. Preload up the next hill through the finish line and you should make it over the long hill and turn right. You'll be heading back up the way you started, now preload the hills you hopped down earlier and take the left turn. After you cross the bridge turn left again, do a small preload to get over the mess and then fully preload on the hill with the green light on it. Perform a trick and hopefully if you did the preload right, you will be ready to turn left. After you turn left, ride the undulations and go under the passageway. Take the turn to the right and ride back through the under passageway. Preload the hill at the top and turn to the left, preload the hill staying away from the right side and immediately turn to the left. You will now be back on the road with the finish line. Preload the small hill if you don't have the speed then preload while performing a trick on the green lighted hill. Turn left on the turn, take a small preload onto the first hill and then preload on the finishing line hill. ********************* *2.44 - WILLIAMSBURG* ********************* Right away, try to get ahead of your opponents and turn left. Preload the small hill to get over the taller one. Then turn to the right and preload the next set, and then ride the other hill over the following one as you take the bend to the right. If your going fast enough you can preload the upcoming hill and make it over pretty much all of the hills. Then turn to the right again and preload the hill so you can prepare for the green lit hill. Preload off the nice green-lit hill and perform a trick over all the hills. Stay on the outer left side to go on a smooth raised up part of the track. When you reach the end of it, there is a little bump you can preload off of to get some distance over the undulations. Then preload off the next green light hill and perform a trick. Turn sharply to the right and stay on the right side. Do a small preload over the hill, and then do a full preload on the next one to make it over the tunnel. Take the right turn, go over the bumps and turn right into the tunnel. Right when you exit the tunnel preload out and through the finish line to complete a lap. Turn left to continue on with the race. ***************** *2.45 - PRESCOTT* ***************** Go forward as fast as you can and hop down the bump and shortly take a left turn, you can preload if you want but not a large one because you will land out of bounds. With enough speed you should be able to just hold the gas over the small hills and then preload on the green-lit hill to perform a trick. You should be landing just on the backside of the last hill, right before the left turn. Take the left turn and preload over the hill, you will be coming up to a two-lane track ahead. They are pretty much the same, except the left side will get you through faster, but usually that's where your opponents go to, making it a tight squeeze. Turn left and start getting into rhythm with the moguls. Then turn left when you're through and go as fast as you can on this straightaway. Turn left to enter another mogul section with a nice hill at the end. Do not preload off it, or you will fly past the sharp turn. Go over it normally and turn right. Now start to preload in rhythm on these hills and turn right. Preload off the finishing line and perform a trick. After you land turn sharply to the left, staying to the outer right edge to avoid an unnecessary hill. Preload on the next one to make it over the upcoming hill and turn left to continue the race. **************** *2.46 - LINCOLN* **************** Right away drive as fast as you can down the track and turn left and preload the moguls. Be careful on the last ones so you don't overshoot it and go past the barriers. Turn right and preload off the green light hill and perform a trick. Turn right, and preload the hill, you should be able to make it on top of the flat surface of the large hill and ride down the opposite side. Turn right going across the starting line and right again to go into the tunnel. Start making a rhythm over the undulations and turn to the left when you get out of the tunnel. Preload over the hills and turn sharply to the left. Then preload the next set of hills and turn right, into the tunnel and preload the moguls. Then turn to the right and preload the green light hill and perform a trick. As you turn right stay on the right side of the track. Preload on the hill avoiding the left side. Then turn to the right and preload the next set of hills, take the left turn and preload the hill to get ready to climb the finish line hill. Preload at the top to make it down the other side and turn left to continue the race. **************** *2.47 - VENTURA* **************** Right away drive as fast as you can and hop down the hill, then quickly take the turn to the left. Preload the hills then take the right turn. Preload the green light hill and perform a trick before you land. Turn to the right and drive over the small hills normally, then preload on the large structure ahead. Turn right and preload off the next set of hills, and then take a sharp right turn. Preload the hill into a left turn, and then hold down the gas on the straightaway to pick up speed. Don't bother to preload up the large hill ahead. You should have enough speed to just take it normally, then quickly turn to the right, try to stay in the middle or closer to the right side. Preload off the jump and you should land on the flat straightaway. Take it down the path and turn left to go across some moguls, turn left and preload the next hill. Be careful though, if you are going really fast and get a good preload you can possibly hit the top of the finish line in this race. Turn right and hop down the hill to continue the race. ***************** *2.48 - KINGSTON* ***************** Drive Straight ahead as fast as you can and take the right turn. Preload the hill towards the finish line, go up the hill and preload about halfway up the hill. You should land on the other side and just drive over the other hills. Turn right and stay on the inner right side. Preload over the hills and turn left, stay to the outer right side again. Preload the hills and turn left into another preload on a green-lit hill. You can perform a trick as you are in the air. Then turn left to go in the tunnel. Go straight across out one end of the tunnel and into another tunnel to turn to the right. Drive through the moguls and take the sharp right turn. Stay to the inside of the track and preload the hills. You should be able to make it in two good jumps, and then turn right. Stay to the outer left side and preload the upcoming hills to reach another green lit hill. Perform a trick in the air and turn right. Preload the next set then turn right to enter a stretch with moguls. Turn right to enter a tunnel and then right for a short straightaway. Take the sharp right turn and preload the small hills, to prepare for the finish line hill. ============================================================================== ENDURO RACES ============================================================================== This type of racing is much different from the previous races. You will have to navigate through the gates to be able to proceed. However you are not required to stay on course as long as you can make it through the gates in the right order. The difference between the Amateur and Pro Enduro is pretty much how far you have to go and how many gates there are for you to pass through. You will notice that your radar is now just dots, being the opponents, and lines being the gates. Don't really watch the radar since it's not very useful, instead watch the arrow at the top of the screen. This will point to where you have to go every time you successfully make it through a gate. If you look closely at each gate you can see small signs on each post telling you a fixed direction of what way to go, and how hard the turn will be. This section will tell you how many gates there are, and if there is an important spot it will be listed. ============================================================================== AMATEUR ENDURO ============================================================================== ************************* *2.51 - PROSPECT SPRINGS* ************************* 13 gates to pass through ********************* *2.52 - TIOGA VALLEY* ********************* 19 gates to pass through Be a little careful around gates 2 and 10, these require you to turn a little more than the others. ************************* *2.53 - ARLINGTON STREAM* ************************* 16 gates to pass through Gate 11 is a tight right turn, if you mess up you'll end up in the river. After gate 12 is a red barn you can go inside and preload off the broken roof to the right, while performing a trick. But this slows you down, isn't very recommended. Gate 15 is a hard right turn in a mud pit, try to cut to the inside and get around the bend without going in the mud. ************************ *2.54 - ROCKBRIDGE PARK* ************************ 25 gates to pass through Gate 1 can be a hard right turn to do at high speeds. ************************ *2.55 - FREEPORT HARBOR* ************************ 23 gates to pass through Gate 9 is a hard left turn right on the water's edge. Take it carefully so you don't fall in. Gates 19 and 20 have tight turns to the left, then to the right. ********************* *2.56 - CARIBOU PEAK* ********************* 25 gates to pass through After gate 17 there is a huge jump you will have to preload over to make it across a lower trail piece. Right after gate 20 there is another huge jump to go across, to jump over the lowered track. ********************* *2.57 - SONORA DUNES* ********************* 18 gates to pass through Nothing really bad about this course, just remember that you won't be staying on the path most of the time. ************************** *2.58 - SAN JACINTO ISLES* ************************** 30 gates to pass through Right when you pass through gate 2 you need to make a big preload to clear the river. Right when you pass through gate 15 you need to make a big preload to clear the river. Right when you pass through gate 21 you need to make a big preload to clear the river. Right when you pass through gate 25 you need to make a big preload to clear the river. ============================================================================== PRO ENDURO ============================================================================== ************************* *2.61 - PROSPECT SPRINGS* ************************* 20 gates to pass through Gate 2 is a tight right turn into a hill. Right before gate 5 is an open dumpster you can launch off of to do a trick just make sure you land quick enough to land in the gate ahead. ********************* *2.62 - TIOGA VALLEY* ********************* 47 gates to pass through Gate 1 can be a hard right turn to take on high speeds. Gate 5 is a really tight left turn, take with a lot of caution. Gate 12 needs to be taken a little slow or you will shoot out into the cactus patch. Gate 13 is a tight left turn. Gate 39 is a tight left turn. ************************* *2.63 - ARLINGTON STREAM* ************************* 21 gates to pass through Gate 1 can be kind of tough taking the hard right turn and squeezing into the tunnel. Right after passing through gate 11 you will need to take a sharp right turn. Gate 17 has a pit of mud right before it, with fast speeds you may end up in the river. ************************ *2.64 - ROCKBRIDGE PARK* ************************ 34 gates to pass through Right after gate 29 watch out for the trees. ************************ *2.65 - FREEPORT HARBOR* ************************ 46 gates to pass through Gate 1 has a very tight right turn on a hill take with caution. Gate 2 has a tight turn into mud and is on a narrow pathway. Gates 15 to 20 are all tight turns on a large hill. After gate 25 there is a steep hill that turns to the right as you are climbing it, Gates 28 and 29 are sharp left and right turns. After gate 32 you'll reach some moguls that are sometimes hard to see past to where you are about to land. After coming around the turn from gate 43 you don't want to preload unless you are going a little slow, because you will most likely launch through gate 44 and land in the trees. Gate 45 is a tight left turn. ********************* *2.66 - CARIBOU PEAK* ********************* 38 gates to pass through After gate 4 there is a small gap you will have to preload over. Gates 14 to 17 are tight turns downhill. Gate 19 starts you on an ice river. Gate 23 puts you on another ice river. Gate 34 is a tight right turn, you may end up passing through the road and into the hill. Gate 35 and 36 is a tight turn with ice on the edges. ********************* *2.67 - SONORA DUNES* ********************* 18 gates to pass through After gate 11 watch out for the hang gliders sitting in the middle of the track. ************************** *2.68 - SAN JACINTO ISLES* ************************** 28 gates to pass through Right when you go through Gate 3 you will need to do a big preload to make it across the river. Right when you go through gate 8 you will need to do a big preload to make it across the river. Be careful with the sharp right turn right when you get over there as well. After gate 11 there is a somewhat a tight right turn to get to a sort of hard to see trail with gate 12 in it. Right when you go through gate 16 you will need to do a big preload to get across the river. Right when you go through gate 26 you will need to do a big preload to get across the river. ============================================================================== FREESTYLE PREP ============================================================================== The Freestyle courses are much different from both the Nationals and Supercross races. In each course you will have six similar objectives to complete, one at a time, in two-minute runs. They will include collecting green targets, red targets, a number of different combos, and a three different score levels that you can knock off the list in one go. The green targets will add 500 points to your score and 10 seconds onto the clock. The easiest way to get all the targets is to get them in the order that they are laid out to ensure you enough time to collect them. The red targets will add 1000 points to your score and 5 seconds onto the clock. The easiest way to get all the targets is to get them in the order that they are laid out to ensure you enough time to collect them. When "Busting 10 different combos" it is a must that you do totally different combos throughout the entire process. For example it will only count a combo if you do Circle + Up, Circle + Up for a combo it will no longer count if you do the same combo. It will let you use the same move Circle + Up as long as the next stunt is something else. Since there isn't really a strategy to these types of objectives except for the users comfort ability in playing with their own trick style I can't really write what to do for this in the sections below. When attempting the "Score Stunt Points" objective you will be allowed to try for all three scores at once. Since performing stunts has mostly to do with the users comfort ability in the controls and their personal style of how they like to perform stunts, I can not write anything more below than what is already on here. ============================================================================== AMATEUR FREESTYLE ============================================================================== There are a total of 36 Objectives to complete. ************************* *2.71 - PROSPECT SPRINGS* ************************* Hit Every Green Target - There are 13 targets to collect. 1 - Go straight ahead and preload the hill to catch the first target. 2 - Continue down the path and preload on the small hill right before the target. 3 - Preload over the mud pit 4 - Preload over the second mud pit 5 - Continue down the path towards the circular track, preload another mud pit 6 - Take the right turn and just drive right through it 7 - Continue down the path with the picnic area on your right, turn left at the first left turn. Drive right through this target as well. 8 - Continue straight down the path; use the hill to get the target. 9 - Continue along the path and preload the hill to collect it. 10 - Go down the path and turn right onto the first right turn, you should be able to just drive through it to collect it. 11 - Go down the hill and turn right into a stunt area, you can get it by driving through it. 12 - Step on the gas down the left side to preload on the hill to launch up and capture the second to last target. 13 - Come back around to the right and preload on the hill back in the spot you landed from Target 12 and grab the last target. Hit Every Red Target - There are 8 targets to collect. 1 - Drive straight ahead full speed and use the dumpster as a ramp to launch in the air and collect Target 1. 2 - Continue on the left side of the houses and use the hill to preload in the air to collect the target. 3 - After you land head between the trees towards the target floating at the stunt section. Preload off the hill that is here and get the target. 4 - Turn to the right and drive to the road, turn left on it and take the next right after the target that is suspended in the air. Going full speed, preload the dumpster ramp and grab the target. 5 - Now quickly turn and head northeast towards the Target on the far right. You will see the target floating in the air and a valley to the right. Go up on the right hill and back down, lining up with the target to preload and grab the target. 6 - After you land from Target 5 drive straight toward the next target. You will see a dirt hill area to the right of the target. Go in this area and line up to preload the hill for the target. 7 - Continue West and drive towards the target on the right. You will go through a kind of valley, and come up to a green hill with the target above it to preload on. 8 - Land on the road heading southwest and turn left at the intersection. Straight-ahead is the target; you need to preload on the edge of the road to reach the final one. Bust 10 Different Combos - You must perform 10 totally different combos to get it to count towards the ten. No repeats allowed Score Stunt Points - You must score three different scores that can be done in one run. 10,000 points; 25,000 points; and 50,000 points ********************* *2.72 - TIOGA VALLEY* ********************* Hit Every Green Target - There are 18 targets to collect. 1 - Gun it forward up the shed roof and fly across to the next roof, then preload off the roof up to grab the target. 2 - Continue through the air from Target 1, and go over the smoke stack. Land on top of the target. 3 - Continue behind the buildings so they are to your right. Go down to the end and there's the target. 4 - Turn sharp right so you are going back into the center of the buildings. The target is right there to grab. 5 - Continue forward and turn east to see the target by the hill. Launch off the hill to grab it. 6 - Get on the on the road and head Northeast to the three way junction with a mud pit in the middle and the target waiting for you to drive through it. 7 - Turn left from the mud and drive through the next target. 8 - Continue down the trail and take the left bend when it makes you, to come right in front of the target. 9 - Drive forward till you come to the next mud pit and turn right up the hill to grab the target. 10 - Turn to the Northeast and preload the hill to grab the target. 11 - Continue up the hill towards the next target and preload off the hill to grab the target. 12 - Turn northeast when you land and go into the valley to drive through this target. 13 - Get onto the road ahead and turn left; preload the hill to grab it. 14 - Holding on the gas preload the upcoming steep hill to reach this target. 15 - Right when you land preload the next edge of the road here to launch up and grab it. 16 - Turn a little to the right and drive through the target. 17 - Quickly turn left and preload off the hill from Target 16 to get enough air to catch this target. 18 - Drive forward and get into the bowl with mud in it, then use the outer piece to preload out and grab it. Hit Every Red Target - There are 9 targets to collect. 1 - Drive straight ahead fast and preload the hill to get the target. 2 - You should be landing on the road from Target 1, turn right on the road, before you go up the large hill quickly turn right. When you go through the mud turn right again. Take this road up and around the hill to the right, then you will see the target above and to the right of two cactus, Get to the right of them and preload up to get the target. 3 - Head across the steep mountainous ridge West, then take it north. Line up so you will line up with the target on the lower hills. You will need to use the lower hill that will have you facing northeast as you approach it. Preload off and grab the target. 4 - Head down the little valley from landing and preload the upcoming hill. 5 - Immediately after landing from Target 4 line up for the target and preload off the hill into target 5. 6 - Continue north a little from landing and you will come to a kind of wide-open valley. Use this to step on the gas and head sort of southeast towards the target. Preload the right hill of the two hills that are kind of attached together to reach the target. 7 - Head down the road you land on to the right and you will see the next target high in the air. Instead of picking the upcoming larger hill take the left smaller one so you aren't slowed down from the height and preload well enough to reach it. 8 - You will land on a road from Target 7 heading East. Drive down it and it will turn right eventually. You will see the target in the air above a hill that separates the two roads. Go down the middle of the road and preload the hill to grab it. 9 - When you land you will see the next target above the air off the ledge of the hill. Back up a bit and preload off the lip in front of the target so you can grab it. Bust 10 Different Combos - You must perform 10 totally different combos to get it to count towards the ten. No repeats allowed Score Stunt Points - You must score three different scores that can be done in one run. 10,000 points; 25,000 points; and 50,000 points ************************* *2.73 - ARLINGTON STREAM* ************************* Hit Every Green Target - There are 19 targets to collect. 1 - Drive straight ahead and preload the hill to get the target. 2 - Continue forward and preload the hill to get the target. 3 - Turn left at the junction and drive right through the target. 4 - Continue down the road and drive through the target. 5 - Drive South from Target 4 and you will see the next target to get, drive right through it. 6 - Drive further up the hill and turn left to collect the target. 7 - Go southwest to go over the train tracks and collect the target. 8 - Turn right at the road and use the hill to preload up and get the target. 9 - Turn left following the road and preload over the mud to get the next target. 10 - Go inside the barn and preload off the broken roof, go straight in the door and straight up and out the roof. 11 - Turn right after landing and head up the hill into the Stunt area to get grab the target. 12 - Head Northwest and preload off of the wooden stunt ramp to get the target. 13 - When you land turn around and you will see a target above another wooden stunt ramp. 14 - Head southeast and you will see another wooden stunt ramp facing the river. Preload off of it and grab the target. 15 - when you land you should come down on the island in the middle of the river, go southeast onto the road and turn right to go up the pedestrian walkway. Preload on the top edge to get up and grab the target. 16 - After landing drive southwest to reach the target. 17 - Turn right and drive through the river, drive to the middle island, and then through the rest of the river. Come up the other side and grab the target. 18 - Get onto the trail right in front of you, turn left and use the hill to preload up and grab the target. 19 - Continue down the trail and use the wooden stunt ramp to preload across the train tracks and grab the target. Hit Every Red Target - There are 10 targets to collect. 1 - Drive forward really fast and use the wooden stunt ramp to preload off of and get the target as you cross the track. 2 - Quickly line up for the next wooden stunt ramp to cross back over the track and grab the target. 3 - When you land head north to a trail and turn right to drive through the waiting target. 4 - Head east up the path and you will see a viewing tower. Drive up the steps fast and preload the last step to grab the target. 5 - Cross the train tracks and turn left. Head down the trail and stay on the left side. Preload the hill to get the target. 6 - Continue up the trail and preload the hill to reach the target. 7 - Head east up the hill and preload the sort of bumpy part of the hill. 8 - Continue around the hill and preload on the bump off of the hill to get this target. 9 - Turn left and drive towards the wooden pedestrian walkway. Turn the ATV around and gun it to the hill to preload into the target suspended over here. 10 - Return to the wooden pedestrian walkway and preload off the top edge of it. Bust 10 Different Combos - You must perform 10 totally different combos to get it to count towards the ten. No repeats allowed Score Stunt Points - You must score three different scores that can be done in one run. 10,000 points; 25,000 points; and 50,000 points ************************ *2.74 - ROCKBRIDGE PARK* ************************ Hit Every Green Target - There are 15 targets to collect. 1 - Head up the trail and to the right starting to go up hill for the first target. 2 - Continue up the hill to get the next target. 3 - Turning left, continue up the mountain and use the hill to preload into the target. 4 - Continue forward and preload into the target. 5 - Head down the trail and turn left, you will see a hill right after a pit of mud, preload off of it to grab the target. 6 - Continue down the trail turning left and then right. Preload across the pit of mud to get it. 7 - Right after landing from Target 6 preload the next hill to get the target. 8 - Head up the trail and turn right, preload the hill to get it. 9 - Drive on the right side of the mud pit to just drive right through it. 10 - Continue uphill and preload the top to get the target. 11 - Head down the trail and turn left into the target. 12 - When you enter the stunt area turn right and preload the hill to get enough air to reach the target. 13 - Turn left and preload the next hill along the edge of the stunt area. 14 - Preload the upcoming hill after landing from Target 13. 15 - Turn right, after you land from Target 14 and preload the center of the hill. Hit Every Red Target - There are 8 targets to collect. 1 - Head up the trail and preload the hill under the wooden bridge. 2 - Continue straight ahead and just preload off the edge of the road in between the trees to get the target. 3 - Go straight ahead to the wooden deck and preload off the stairs to get this target. 4 - After you land from Target 3 get in the farthest West trail of the two trails. Turn right and preload into the wooden fence to jump it. 5 - When you land from Target 4 drive in between the trees ahead, line yourself up with the target and preload on the upcoming hill. 6 - After landing from Target 5 turn left off the road and line yourself up with the target and preload off the hill. 7 - Drive Northwest past the little hunting cabins and cut across the trail into the tree area. Dodging the trees, quickly line up with the target, high in the air and preload off the hill to catch it. It is very easy to overshoot, about a half preload should get it. 8 - Continue Northwest and you will climb another steep hill. Look on your radar and you should have the target to your right. Hit Every Red Target - There are 8 targets to collect. 1 - Drive off the trail forward onto the next trail ahead and preload off of the center island to catch the target. 2 - After landing from Target 1, hop down the mountain a little. Turn left and preload the hill right off the side of the path. 3 - Continue forward off the trail and use the upcoming grass hill to preload into the target. 4 - Head up the trail a bit, when you see the target, turn right and preload off the side of the hill to catch it. Be careful when landing, you may end up in the ocean. 5 - Now head northwest up the trail, turning off the path and line up to preload into the target. 6 - From Target 5 head in between the trees immediately after and preload the hill to get the somewhat hidden target. 7 - Continue North on the hilltop and just drive through it. 8 - From Target 7 get onto the left side of the building and use the stairs to preload onto the crane. Ride up to the top and just step on the gas to drive through the target and land in the ocean. After turning the bend, preload the hill to hit the target. 6 - Continue forward and drive up the first set of stairs to reach the target. 7 - Get to the top of the next set of stairs to receive the target. 8 - Turn right and drive up some more steps. 9 - Continue up the last set of steps. 10 - Drive down the hill a bit, and you will see a target above a narrow high hill. Preload off of it to grab it, and as you are falling skip the closest trail and move to the second furthest away. 11 - After landing from Target 10 turn right on the road, and take the curve to the right. Preload the hill and grab the target. 12 - Continue straight ahead into the next target. Hit Every Red Target - There are 8 targets to collect. 1 - Drive forward and turn left into the Red and white announcers pole. Preload in between the tree and the announcer pole to get the target. 2 - Carefully head straight to go down the hill, use brakes, and turn left when you reach the trail. Go onto the ice river and turn right. You will see the target above a snow bank straight ahead. Preload off the bank to get it. 3 - Go forward from Target 2 and turn left onto the trail. Head up the hill and turn right at the junction. Head down the path a little and turn left over a little hill onto a trail that is just left of the large wooden box. Gun it down this path and take it around to the right, using the embankment to help go fast, and preload the wooden box as hard as you can to reach the target. 4 - Get back onto the main trail that you just turned off on and head down past the wooden box. Turn left at the first choice. When you pass the single tree on your right, gun it forward and start lining up with the target above the hill straight ahead. Preload the hill and grab the target. 5 - Immediately after landing turn right and drive up the snow hill, to reach a trail. Turn left on it and head down it to the junction, turning right at the next junction. Straight ahead is the target. Preload off the hill ahead to get it. 6 - Head West through the trees and shortly you will come to another hill with a target to get to. 7 - Get on the trail that should be to your right, and turn right down the first turn. You should see the target on your right side just above the hill, go in and preload to go get it. 8 - Head East from Target 7 and you will see the target shortly after. No repeats allowed Score Stunt Points - You must score three different scores that can be done in one run. 10,000 points; 25,000 points; and 50,000 points ********************* *2.77 - SONORA DUNES* ********************* Hit Every Green Target - There are 15 targets to collect. 1 - Drive forward and preload the hill in front of you. 2 - Keep driving south off the trail to collect it. 3 - Continue south and preload the hill up to get it. 4 - Drive along the top of the ridge and preload on the hill right before the target. 5 - Right after Target 4 preload on the next hill. 6 - Drive up to the top of the dune where the hang-gliders are to get the target. 7 - Turn left up here and go past the hang-gliders. 8 - Continue now east, weaving to the left of the white fans. 9 - Now moving forward, weave to the right of the fans. 10 - Weave to the left. 11 - Go down the hill now and weave to the right, right after you drive past the fan. 12 - Go a little to the right from Target 11 and come all the way down to the normal level. 13 - Turn sharp left from Target 12 and preload the hill. 14 - continue northwest and drive straight through the target. 15 - Keep driving northwest and preload off the hill to get it. Hit Every Red Target - There are 8 targets to collect. 1 - Drive kind of northeast, be careful with the steep decline. Use the hill to preload into the target. 2 - Travel Northeast after landing from Target 1 and grab the next one by preloading into it. 3 - After collecting the 2nd target, turn Northwest and drive into the circular sand bowl ahead. If you need more speed, drive around the inside of the bowl and then line up real fast and fully preload out of there to catch the target. 4 - Head West immediately from landing and head towards the target straight ahead. You will have to preload the hill right before the trail to reach it. 5 - Turn right and head towards the target in the sky. Preload to get it. 6 - Turn left from Target 5 and you will see the target above a hill. Get on the Northeast side of the hill and preload heading Southwest into the target. 7 - Head south now and line up with the target, preload on the edge and take the target. 8 - Right after landing from Target 7 turn and head southwest. Preload off the side of the volcano to get it. 4 - Head out the Southwest exit and follow the trail South. Preload the end of the trail right before you go into the river for the target. 5 - At the intersection across the river turn left. Drive forward and preload off the side of the hill to get it. 6 - Continue forward from Target 5 and turn right along with the trail. Preload the top of the hill to touch the target. 7 - Take the first left turn having you head southeast and preload the hill in front of you. 8 - Make it across the river from Target 7 and preload the hill ahead. 9 - Continue East and get in the left lane. Hit Every Green Target - There are 8 targets to collect. 1 - Drive forward and turn to the right, use the hill to preload into across the course picking up the target on your way. 2 - When you land from Target 1 you should be on the other side of the far hill that you would land on. Now turn with the trail to the left and go to the corner, turning left again when you make it there. Preload this hill for the target. 3 - After landing from Target 2 go all the way forward into the next corner, do a sort of u-turn and preload the smaller hill to the right of the hill you just came down, to get the target. 4 - After landing from Target 3, ride with the dirt mound in a u-turn to the right. Drive up the hill and pass the white dirt like area. Turn to the right into the pit. Drive around to the right and preload the hill into the target. 5 - After landing from Target 4 wrap around to the right here, and preload going back across the middle to grab the next target. 6 - When you land from Target 5 quickly take the wrap around to the right once more to cross the middle. This time turn left, drive Northeast and turn right. Preload the hill and grab the target. 7 - Once you touch the ground from Target 6 turn right and go over the median to get in the next lane. In this lane start turning towards the north and preload the hill. 8 - Drive all the way to the North wall and do a total 180. Driving south line up with the last target. Hit Every Red Target - There are 8 targets to collect. 1 - Drive forward and turn to the right, use the hill to preload into across the course picking up the target on your way. 2 - When you land from Target 1 you should be on the other side of the far hill that you would land on. Best way to get these targets is by getting every other one and coming back from the end and getting the rest. Here is the order you should get them in if you numbered them 1-31 from start to finish. Drive forward and to the left to start the hills, grab these Targets. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31 After collecting Target 31 do a u-turn back around, drive over the first hill so you can offset your preload by one hill and collect the even numbers. 30, 28, 26, 24, 22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 Thankfully this is the only one like it. Hit Every Red Target - There are 9 targets to collect. 1 - Drive straight forward over the hill and down the other side. Use the loop around farther up to turn around and gain speed. Coming back up the hill, preload into the targets, grabbing most likely the bottom one. 2 - After landing on the other side go up to the top of the turn around section and go east to the next section here. Go into the southeast corner and use the banking to turn to the left. You will see the target floating above the pit you were just in to the West. Use the ramp to preload into it. 3 - After you land from Target 2 head into the southwest corner and use the banking to turn left here. You will be coming out of it facing northeast and going to the center of. Preload off the skinny hilltop to take the very top target off. 4 - After landing from Target 3 use the northeast corner's turn around to get around, heading back the way you came. Now preload with about half as much power and you can grab the middle target. 5 - Take the southwest turn around and head back towards the narrow hill. Instead of going up it, turn off to the left a little, you will see a path on leading to the right and then down to the left. Use the hill at the end to get the target. 6 - When you land from Target 5, turn right back around and head in the way you came. Go up the little bit and around to the right, using the hill to get the target. 7 - Go to the edge after landing from Target 6 and turn right. Staying on the outside near the edge, head toward the north corner. Right before you hop the hill into the northwest turn around corner, turn right. Head towards the target straight ahead, preloading on the stairs. 8 - Right when you land from Target 7 turn right and head up the trail, like for Targets 5 and 6. Head to the right and then down and to the left. Jump the hill to make it. 9 - Do a quick u-turn. and head back into the middle. Turn to the right and preload the hill to get the target. 9 - Once you land, do a u-turn to the left and preload the next hill, to get it's target. 10 - Follow the path to the South wall and turn left with the trail. Preload the hill and grab the target. 11 - Drive straight to the East wall and turn left, preloading the hill to get the target. 12 - Follow the trail as a u-turn to the left and preload the center hill for the target. 13 - After you land from Target 12 follow the path into a u-turn to the right grabbing the target. When you reach the darker brown, turn left to get the target. 3 - After landing from Target 2 get on the top of the left hill. Drive until you see the grass on the right, turn in to the right here. Preload the hill and grab the target. 4 - After landing from Target 3 get on the top of the right hill. Drive until you reach a darker brown spot, turn left and preload the hill to get the target. 5 - After you land from Target 4 get on top of the left hill. Drive until you see a dark spot on the right hill. Turn towards it and preload the hill for the target. 6 - After you land from Target 5 get on top of the right hill. Turn right and preload the upcoming hill. 5 - When you land turn right and preload the next hill. 6 - Right when you land from Target 5, preload the next hill for the target. 7 - At the next corner preload the big hill. 8 - When you land from Target 7, make a quicker right turn so you preload the smaller hill over the big one. Stay to the inside and use this new curve to turn right. Preload the center hill high, to grab this target. Hit Every Red Target - There are 8 targets to collect. 1 - Drive forward and take the turning trail to the right as a u-turn. Preload the hill to grab the target. 2 - When you land from Target 1, do another u-turn to the right with the following curve. Preload on the hill to get this target. 3 - After you land from Target 2 do another u-turn, but this time turn left right before the hill. Go into the Northwest corner and turn right. Stay on the outside of and preload the hill to get the target. 4 - Staying to the outside edge, head to the East corner. Turn right and preload the upcoming hill. 5 - When you land turn right and preload the next hill. 6 - Drive to the West corner and turn right, get on the right side of the hill straight ahead, then preload it for the target closest to you. 7 - When you land from Target 6, make a quicker right turn so you preload the smaller hill over the big one. Stay to the inside and use this new curve to turn right. Preload the center hill high, to grab this target. 8 - When you land from Target 7, turn right. Get onto the left side of the hill this time, and go fast. Preload off the hill and grab the target. Preload the South edge to get the target. 6 - Right when you land from Target 5 preload straight ahead for the target. 7 - Get into the Southern corner bowl. Preload the East edge to get the target. 8 - Right when you land from Target 7 preload straight ahead for the target. 9 - If you landed in the Eastern most corner, drive Northwest over the light to get into another bowl. Now turn north and preload the edge to get the target. 10 - Turn to the West and preload the edge of this bowl to get the target. 11 - Turn to the South and preload the edge to get the target. 12 - Turn to the East and preload the edge Hit Every Red Target - There are 10 targets to collect. 1 - Drive forward into the bowl and preload heading north. 2 - Right when you land from Target 1 preload again to reach the target. 3 - From the northern corner bowl, preload west to get the next target. 4 - Right when you land from Target 3 preload into the upcoming hill to get the next target. 5 - Turn to the South and preload the edge here for the target. 6 - Right when you land from Target 5 preload again into the target. 7 - Turn to the East and preload into the target. 8 - Right when you land from Target 7 preload again into the target. 9 - From the East corner turn northwest and drive over the lights. Turn north and preload the hill into the target. 10 - After landing from Target 9, turn west and jump two bowls over. Turn south and preload the side to reach the target. Multiplayer ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This option allows you to play with either a friend on one PS2, PS2's hooked together through i.LINK, LAN, or the Internet. Players cannot unlock items during a multiplayer competition. Players are allowed to load their Profiles during a multiplayer competition, but no one will be able to save to their profile. In Split Screen competition only, if a player breaks a record, that stat will be added to the Hall of Fame on Player 1's Memory Card. ******************** *3.1 - SPLIT SCREEN* ******************** This option is to use one PlayStation 2 only. You can use a PlayStation 2 multitap to have up to 4 players play on split screen. If two players are racing in this option, the races will have computer controlled racers (unless Duel race is selected) if you have a 3rd and/or 4th player(s) playing as well, there will not be any computers to compete with. To switch the view for the two player window setting go to the Main Menu and select Options, and then Game Settings. You can toggle between Horizontal and Vertical. You can play on any of the unlocked racecourses for Amateur Nationals, Pro Nationals, Amateur Supercross, Pro Supercross, Amateur Enduro, Pro Enduro, User Created Enduro, Short Tracks, Amateur Freestyle, Pro Freestyle, Tag, Hockey, King of the Hills, and Treause Hunt. ******************** *3.2 - i.LINK: HOST* ******************** For people with two PlayStation 2's, two copies of ATV Offroad Fury 2, two television sets, and a i.LINK cable. This option is only for the owners of a PlayStation 2 model Version 1 through 8. The reason it doesn't work with Versions 9 and 10 of the PlayStation 2 is simply because Sony discontinued supporting the i.LINK port next to the USB ports. If you have one of these then you will also need another TV along with a second PlayStation 2 that is capable of doing it with a copy of ATV Offroad Fury 2. Decide who will host the game and who will be joining. Host click's X on the host option. Right when you select this option a warning will come up. The only way to play the offline version of ATV Offroad Fury 2 after you accept is to reset the entire PlayStation 2, press Circle. You will then have the choice between all the unlocked Amateur Nationals, Pro Nationals, Amateur Supercross, Pro Supercross, Amateur Enduro, Pro Enduro, Short Tracks, Amateur Freestyle, and Pro Freestyle. You can't proceed until the client (person joining) has connected to the Host. ******************** *3.3 - i.LINK: JOIN* ******************** For people with two PlayStation 2's, two copies of ATV Offroad Fury 2, two television sets, and a i.LINK cable. This option is only for the owners of a PlayStation 2 model Version 1 through 8. The reason it doesn't work with Versions 9 and 10 of the PlayStation 2 is simply because Sony discontinued supporting the i.LINK port next to the USB ports. If you have one of these then you will also need another TV along with a second PlayStation 2 that is capable of doing it with a copy of ATV Offroad Fury 2. It simulates online play but with people that are in the same building that you know over a network. Usually having up to four PlayStation 2's plugged into a router to create a LAN. I believe you can have unlimited PlayStation 2's hooked into the network but only 4 can join each game at a time, like the online option. LAN Stands for Local Area Network. This would be something like say, hooking 4 PlayStation 2's to a Router with the Ethernet cables. You will need from 2 to 4 PlayStation 2's each with a Network Adapter, their own copy of ATV Offroad Fury 2, Ethernet cables running from each PS2 to the router, a router of course, and separate televisions for each PlayStation 2. You will also need a created Network File on your Memory Card from the Network Set-up Disk. If you have all that, have everyone hooked in and press X on LAN. Right when you select this option a warning will come up. Everyone will then choose there Network configuration file to load, then you will connect to the Network. You will then choose Race or Freestyle event. When you enter you have the choice to Host a new game or Join a different one that someone has already started. Choose the settings of where you want to play etc, and then continue to the ATV and person selection. Press start when you are ready to go and wait for the other players to select. Then you will get to make some final decisions on what you want to use for your ATV and your character. ************** *3.5 - ONLINE* ************** This option is for a PlayStation 2 to go on the Internet and join the official game server to play with other players from different areas. You will need the PlayStation 2, a network adapter, Ethernet or dial-up cables, network configuration file. A copy of ATV Offroad Fury 2, and an ISP (Internet Service Provider). Right when you select this option a warning will come up. The only way to play the offline version of ATV Offroad Fury 2 after you accept is to reset the entire PlayStation 2, press Circle. You will then have to choose what Network Configuration you will be using to access the internet. Choose the file you want and another warning sign will pop up. It will want to know if this is the correct configuration you want to use and it will tell you that the name and number on your jersey is what will identify you online. Click X to continue. You will then connect and log in, and be taken to the Legal Agreement. Read it if it's your first time, it will only take a moment. Then you will go to the announcements screen, this tells you about events and when server maintenance is: 5am and 6am PST. When you get through all of that you will come to the Game Room Select screen. Select race or freestyle. The chat room will need you to verify your age before you may enter. You can either host or join a game. If you are hosting you will have to wait for at least one more person to join your game to start it.
