The Takeover serves as a prequel to Def Jam Vendetta, tracing the events leading to D-Mob's rule of New York City. For those of you not following the story, maybe just check out the names: Busta Rhymes, Carmen Electra, Lil' Kim, Ludacris, Method Man, Redman, Snoop Dogg, and Xzibit are among the celebs playable in the game.
This Def Jam also offers new moves and venues; a fighter creation mode featuring designer gear (Def Jam University, Phat Farm, Brand Jordan, Ecko Unlimited, Reebok, and others); and one-on-one matches via PSP wireless connectivity.
