Mega Man Battle Network 6 is said to serve as a climax for the Battle Network series. Capcom is planning a Japanese release this winter, with plans calling for two separate cartridges, following the pattern of Battle Network 5. For the two Battle Network 5 games, Capcom eventually released a combo pack for the DS containing both games on one cartridge. While nothing has been announced, we expect a similar DS release to follow.
Although Battle Network 6 is referred to as the climactic entry in the series, Capcom hints that we can expect more Battle Network games in the future.
